Eugen Michael Jakob - German
Managing Director

At ON Power Technology AG, Mr. Jakob is responsible for leading the company's global scientific and technology strategy and engineering innovation.

Prior to joining ON Power Technology AG, Mr. Jakob was the Managing Director of an electrical engineering firm he founded in 2009.

From 1995 to 2009, Mr. Jakob held various positions within the ABB Group, a global leader in power and automation technologies; as Product Manager, AC/DC Drives and as Application Team Manager, both positions at ABB Schweiz AG, Normelec. At ABB Schweiz AG, Services & Robotics, he was the Process Automation Manager.

From 1989 to 1994, Mr. Jakob was Development Engineer at Reliance Electric AG in Switzerland.

Mr. Jakob’s career began in 1987 when he joined Mannesmann Demag AG, in Germany, as an electrical engineer, and since then he has had positions of increasing responsibility. His industry experience includes more than 30 years of engineering and management positions.

Mr. Jakob has published several technical papers in research journals and is a member of IEEE Power & Energy Society and Power Electronics Society. He has also been a professor of electric drive systems at the College of Technology in Switzerland.

After studies in France and Germany, Mr. Jakob received his degree in Electrical Engineering (Dipl. –Ing. Lic.) including his diploma thesis at Université de Metz in France.

Married and father of a son, he is a keen sailor. He is fluent in German, Spanish, French and English.


Annette Jakob - Panamanian
Director of Operations

At ON Power Technology AG, Mrs. Jakob’s responsibilities include all aspects of financial management, marketing, project management and corporate development.

Prior to joining ON Power Technology AG, Mrs. Jakob had a 20-year career in the financial sector during which she first worked at Coutts Bank (Switzerland) Ltd. in Zurich, Switzerland, and worked as a Senior Trust Relationship Manager at HSBC Trust Company AG in Zurich, Switzerland, where she was responsible for the management of complex and high value fiduciary structures of high net worth and ultrahigh net worth clients.

Mrs. Jakob’s career began in 1982 when she joined International Management Trust Company in Panama.

Her experience includes more than 24 years in the trust and fiduciary services industry. Numerous courses and further training round off her profile.

Mrs. Jakob (née González Bairnals) holds a degree in Public Economics, summa cum laude, from Panama National University, and a STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) Diploma.

Mrs. Jakob is married and mother of a son. She speaks Spanish, English and German.
